About this conference

This first-of-its-kind event is designed to develop the system of the future to optimize meeting the needs of local communities. Attendees will hear directly from senior federal officials, national partners, and policy experts on the issues driving the workforce agenda. Hands-on advocacy sessions will sharpen messages and strengthen strategies for Capitol Hill meetings, where attendees will share their stories to help lawmakers understand the needs of local boards to serve workers, employers, and communities. The summit will feature three days of real-time federal policy insights, hands-on advocacy training, and human-centered design sessions aimed at envisioning an optimal workforce system for the future, providing guidance to policymakers for future system legislation. This will be followed by a full day of Capitol Hill meetings and a Congressional Reception.
