National Association of Workforce Boards

The National Association of Workforce Boards (NAWB) is the national association representing and advocating for more than 570 local, state, and U.S. territory workforce development boards. NAWB’s mission is "to effectively advocate and continuously advance America’s workforce system by ensuring workforce boards have the expertise and capacity to meet the needs of business, jobseekers, and communities," and it serves as a convener and advocate on Capitol Hill and with federal agencies. In 2024–2025 NAWB has published reports and issued policy statements while partnering with private-sector companies to advance workforce innovation (for example, a June 20, 2025 report titled "Forging What’s Next").
