About this conference
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is hosting this joint event for Motor Carrier Safety Assistance Program (MCSAP) lead agencies, and Federal and State Innovative Technology Deployment (ITD) and Performance and Registration Information System Management (PRISM) team members. This annual event is the most comprehensive Federal strategy session and workshop dedicated to commercial motor vehicle (CMV) safety and also serves as the MCSAP funding conference for the FY 2027 grant cycle. The theme for this year is "Focus on Fundamentals." Attendees will gain insights into the National Priorities for fiscal year 2027, learn fundamental grant management tasks, and explore strategies to enhance nationwide impact. Participants will brainstorm activities for their Commercial Vehicle Safety Plans (CVSP) and set PRISM and ITD goals for the year. This is an in-person meeting with no virtual component offered.
