The State of California, through its official Cal eProcure state procurement portal, is soliciting bids for Douglas Fir Poles, both Fire Wrapped and Non-Fire Wrapped, for use in utility/grid applications. Fire-wrapped poles are used in California to reduce wildfire ignition risk by protecting wooden poles from becoming fuel sources. The solicitation was issued on July 8, 2026, and bids/responses are due by July 21, 2026.

Purchase of a medium size utility style rescue truck.

The Department of Natural Resources and Energy Development, on behalf of the Government of New Brunswick, is seeking bids to establish a Contract of Supply for fire hose and related firefighting equipment to be delivered on an as-and-when-required basis. The contract will commence upon Contract Award and run through July 31, 2028, with the option to renew for two additional one-year terms. Pricing for renewal option years will be subject to negotiation based on the New Brunswick Consumer Price Index, and the Province reserves the right to re-tender, re-award, or delete items if a mutually agreed price cannot be reached.

The procurement requires FAA Form 8130-3 Authorized Release Certificates and traceability documentation; refurbished or remanufactured items are excluded. The opportunity is a commercial acquisition under FAR Part 12 with responses due by August 5, 2026.
