Academically, the plan emphasizes developing innovative learners who become positive leaders, focusing on adaptive curriculum, equipping students to be active participants and problem solvers, and ensuring college and career readiness. The plan also prioritizes wise stewardship of resources to prepare students for success and foster a sense of patriotic pride. The CSP was developed through a collaborative effort involving community members, the school board, parents, students, and education professionals, utilizing a SWOT analysis to identify key priorities and guideposts.

Action items will cover the approval of SARC reports for various schools, the 2025-26 student calendar, and the award of E-Rate projects for 2025-26. A closed session will be held to discuss labor negotiations.

It aims to define and implement programs that comply with state and federal laws and align with the district's strategic goals, helping students meet English proficiency and academic achievement standards. The Wheatland School District's Master Plan for English Learner Success details programs and services to help English Learners (ELs) acquire English proficiency and achieve academic success. Key areas of focus include student identification and placement using the ELPAC assessment, parental exception waivers, program descriptions (Structured English Immersion, English Language Mainstream, and Alternative Programs), reclassification procedures, staffing and professional development, parent and community involvement (ELAC and DELAC), funding, and program evaluation and monitoring. The plan aims to ensure ELs gain one English proficiency level annually, achieve grade-level academic performance, and ultimately achieve full English proficiency and reclassification as Fluent English Proficient (FEP).
