1 EA of Breathing air system. Characteristics For SCBA Fill Station Storage Bottles: 1. The system shall be comprised of four (4) new 6000 psi, DOT/UN approved, 510 cubic ft. cylinders. 2. Each tank shall be equipped with a new, so seat valve, complete with appropriate approved safety relief device. Tanks are to be painted yellow with a 9”x6” vinyl label stating the cylinders’ pressure rating and gas that the cylinder contains. Each tank is to have been internally inspected prior to being valved, with a dated sticker attesting to this inspection. A dome-type protective cap is to be supplied with each tank to protect the valve during shipping or transportation. 3. A 6000 psi manifold tee is to be supplied for each tank and a 7000-psi pigtail to connect each tank to the other. For one end of the system, an elbow and a 7000 psi 8-foot flexible hose, to connect from the compressor is to be provided. The other end shall have a tee, a 2-1/2 inch 10,000-psi line gauge and the filler hose. 4. A heavy-duty 6 ft. filler hose shall be provided. On the fill end shall be a rubber-covered 0-7500 psi gauge, a soft seat line valve, a bleeder valve and a hand-tight wheel and soft tip nipple to connect to any brand SCBA bottle. See attached file.
