The renovation project is intended to modernize the existing surgical suite to include renovation of two existing operating rooms and the addition of eight pre- and post-surgical care patient bays. The purpose of this project is to provide the capability to increase surgical volumes, increase the types of cases offered and provide greater accessibility for outpatient surgery for children. The proposed project includes renovation of 9,120 SF; building additions of 692 SF; and renovation within the existing 1,282 SF penthouse. The renovation will occur within a c.1980s expansion area of the facility.
