Valley Metro Rail, Inc. issued this Request for Information (RFI) to gather information from qualified firms regarding Asset Condition Assessment and Asset Management Solutions for its light rail transit system infrastructure, including Overhead Catenary Systems (OCS), Traction Power Systems, Rail Communications Systems, Signal Systems, and Systemwide Electrical Infrastructure. The RFI requests information on services, technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices supporting comprehensive condition assessments, asset lifecycle and maintenance management, reporting/analytics/dashboard visualization, and capital investment planning. Responses will be used for informational and planning purposes only; the project is identified as 2026-RFI-093.

Provide qualified vendors, manufacturers, and service providers regarding effective and humane pigeon mitigation solutions. This rfi specifically excludes traditional bird spikes and netting systems. The intent is to identify alternative methods that are safe, durable, aesthetically acceptable, and compliant with applicable wildlife protection regulations. Solutions of interest include, but are not limited to:electrical track systems (low-profile deterrent systems that deliver mild aversive stimuli); optical deterrents (reflective devices, lasers, holographic systems); ultrasonic or sonic deterrents (including programmable distress-call systems) in compliance with city of phoenix code 23-14 noise ordinance. Valley Metro invites sealed offers for comprehensive printing services including black & white and color printing, finishing, mailing, and vehicle wraps. The contract is expected to commence around January 17, 2027, and will run for a period of up to five years. Services will be performed at various Valley Metro locations within Maricopa County, Arizona.
