To provide: 10,00 shrub seedlings in 2 locations across utah by october 15,2026. The contractor must deliver seedlings with plants that are at least 4” in height and roots that fill to the bottom of PL 50 plugs and hold the soil together so that the root wad will not fall apart when removed from the tray, which is approximately 1.94” wide and 4.5” deep. If plant height is not at least 4” tall and the roots do not fill the pot and hold the soil together, the DWR will not accept delivery of the plants. Plants must have been sown no later than March 1 so that they are at least 6.5 months old by October 15, 2026. They must be grown so that the plant is at least 4” tall above the soil surface by delivery. All of the plants must be wrapped in the Vexar mesh tube protectors so that they cover the root wad and extend 8” above the soil surface to protect the plant.
