This strategic plan outlines the mission of A Red Circle, an organization dedicated to promoting community betterment in North St. Louis County. The plan focuses on holistic initiatives across key areas including health, food access, education, justice, civic engagement, and the arts. Its overarching goal is to restore worth to the community, fostering a safe, vibrant, sustainable, and economically sound environment, while also supporting individual growth and ensuring access to fresh, healthy food.

The strategic plan for the University of Missouri--St. Louis aims to transform lives and enhance the university's role as a premier public research institution. It focuses on enrollment growth, student success, research, community engagement, economic development, and inclusive excellence. A key commitment is to increase the number of adults in St. Louis with a bachelor's degree to 40% by 2025, fostering a more educated and empowered workforce.

The 2021 Campus Plan for the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) focuses on the physical transformation of the campus to improve student experience and create a more connected mobility network. Key areas of focus include consolidating academic activities, pursuing strategic decommissioning of underutilized assets, and fostering community partnerships. The plan prioritizes reinvestment in the academic core, development of mixed-use transit-oriented nodes at the UMSL North and South Stations, and creation of industry partnerships near I-70. The plan also emphasizes communication, maintenance, and accessibility to rebuild trust with the campus community.

The Faculty Senate meeting covered various reports and proposals. The Chancellor's report included announcements about commencement ceremonies, Curators' Distinguished Professors, and a significant donation to the School of Engineering. Discussions included faculty qualifications, updates from the Intercampus Faculty Cabinet (IFC) on AI usage in education and digital accessibility, and curriculum changes to the Child Advocacy Studies Minor, the Certificate in Workplace and Organizational Science Program, the Communication BA/MA Dual Program, and the PhD in Criminology and Criminal Justice. The Academic Calendar for 2026-2027 was also approved.

During the meeting, Dr. Erika Gibb was elected as the Senate Chair, Dr. John Meriac as the Senate Secretary, and Dr. Pamela Stuerke as the Senate Parliamentarian. The Senate Steering Committee provided an orientation for the Faculty Senate members. Senators were also elected to serve on the Committee on Committees, representing various departments.
