Procurement guidance and navigation tips.
Lower scores indicate easier procurement processes. Created by Starbridge.
Sole Source: Use only if you can prove statutory uniqueness (only provider/emergency/compatibility) and a department will own the justification; expect scrutiny/delays.
Coops: Don’t lead with co-ops; only proceed if the buyer explicitly confirms acceptance in writing.
University of Arkansas System Office: Sole source is conditionally viable but opaque. It is allowed under Arkansas statutory criteria (only provider, emergency, or compatibility). Practical notes:
Must secure a sponsoring department to draft/own the justification.
