The Project scope consists various upgrades throughout the treatment plant including the following: Installation of two (2) chemical feed dosing pump skids and secondary containment system piping with discharges to the influent channel and MLSS channel with leak detention sensors; Replacement and installation of two (2) turbo air blowers for the process aeration system; Replacement of various process aeration flow meters, butterfly valves and actuators, dissolved oxygen analyzers and elements, and control devices within the treatment plant as indicated on the contract drawings and instructed by the owner; Installation of two (2) new air blowers, air piping, and diffusers dedicated to the grit chambers; Concrete work including the construction of a concrete curb around the grit chambers, re-sloping the bottom of the grit chambers, and various concrete repairs; Replacement of two (2) waste activated sludge (WAS) pumps; Installation and replacement of rotating scum tubes, associated scum piping, two (2) submersible and two (2) positive displacement double disc pumps, and 6” discharge piping in the pipe gallery to the blend tanks for the foam and scum removal system improvements; In-kind replacement of all air diffusers within the aeration tanks; In-kind replacement of (x18) various sludge electromagnetic flow meters; Various electrical and instrumentation and control upgrades required for the work presented in the Contract Documents; All other associated work as presented on the Contract Documents.
