Procurement guidance and navigation tips.
Lower scores indicate easier procurement processes. Created by Starbridge.
Sole Source: If sale is less than $10,000, use sole source.
Coops: Lead with Sourcewell for fastest, compliant purchase.
Entity: Timberlane Regional School District, NH.
Use is rare. Sole source should be pursued only with a compelling, documented justification for a School Board waiver—limited to urgent, grant-funded needs or a failed RFP process. The district has a low $10,000 competitive bidding threshold under Policy DJE, making sole source difficult without a waiver. Practical steps: prepare a written justification, align to Policy DJE, coordinate with Procurement/IT, and obtain School Board approval.
