The council reviewed and approved multiple ordinances and resolutions, including financial appropriations for the Health, EMS, Sheriff, and Community Corrections departments, as well as a fund transfer for the Highway Department concerning bridge maintenance and inspection. Discussions included the Sheriff's department salary matrix, the annual TIF District and Redevelopment Commission report, and the necessary procurement of additional courthouse sprinkler installation. Additionally, the council addressed a grant overspending issue within the Community Corrections department and considered a request from the Coroner regarding an appointment to the Redevelopment Commission.

The commission held a hearing on a rezoning application for 7 parcels in the town of Lexington, resulting in a favorable recommendation to the Board of Commissioners.
