Work for which proposals are to be received is for the replacement of Small Structure 004 carrying County Road 500 East over Slocum Ditch. The work will consist of replacing the existing 11 foot diameter corrugated metal pipe and headwalls with a 12 foot by 12 foot reinforced concrete box culvert with headwalls and wingwalls. The existing HMA pavement above the structure will be replaced. Pavement work will consist of 100 feet of full depth HMA pavement with milling and resurfacing on both sides. A total of 170 feet of roadway work is required. Riprap will be installed for scour protection on both ends of the proposed culvert.

The Blackford County Commissioners convened an executive session held in accordance with Indiana Code 5-14-1.5-6.1(b)(4).
The Commissioners reviewed several business items including approval of a grant proposal for Community Corrections and authorization for a sexual assault awareness exhibit at the courthouse.
