The contractor shall: provide training that includes but is not limited to background information on lead and its adverse health effects, work area preparation and clean up requirements, waste handling and disposal, personal protective equipment and decontamination, clearance examination requirements, and lead abatement methods; plan, secure classroom space, advertise, and manage course registration, making every possible effort to fill a class of up to a maximum participants approved for the class/student ratio by the state of maine, deliver and provide course materials for the training, manage any needed records for the training, verify student knowledge, and provide the training certificates for course participants who successfully complete the class and pass the test.
