Project consists of a new operations center. Work includes, but is not limited to construction of a one-story, 33,000 SF commercial building of Type-V-B Construction. The project is mixed use; non-separated occupancy of Business and Storage uses. The building is intended to be used for administrative functions related to the City of Post Falls Public Works Operations and Maintenance departments, with offices, conference rooms, breakroom, and a warehouse with pull through style bays. The project features a mezzanine in the warehouse, primarily for mechanical equipment. The warehouse portion is a PEMB structure (24,900 SF), and the administrative component is stick framed (8,585 SF). Other project work includes, but is not limited to, the construction of an asphalt public roadway (Hargrave Avenue) between Pleasant View Road and Corbin Road along with the development of ~9 acres of land for the City of Post Falls’ new Operation Center. The adjacent undeveloped parcel will require mass and fine grading, the installation of utilities (stormwater facilities, water main, septic system, gas, power), the installation of concrete, asphalt, gravel pavements, and landscaping and irrigation infrastructure.
