The budget includes projections for revenues, expenditures, and fund balances. Revenue sources include property taxes, specific ownership taxes, sewer tap fees, and sewer service charges. Expenditures cover a range of items such as county treasurer's collection fees, accounting and audit services, directors' fees, legal expenses, office costs, auto and truck expenses, salaries, health insurance, unemployment insurance, payroll taxes, retirement plan contributions, insurance, computer expenses, engineering, repairs and maintenance for sewer systems, administration building operations, and sewage treatment fees. Capital outlay for sewer projects and office equipment is also budgeted. The budget assumes no outstanding debt, capital leases, or operating leases for the year ending December 31, 2024.
