The board considered the appointment of an interim director of schools, letters of retirement and resignation, the FY26 Consolidated Application Approval for IDEA/ESEA, an agreement with Autism and Behavior Services, LLC, and the second reading of board policies related to drug and alcohol testing for employees and complaints and grievances. There was also special recognition for Jennifer Eilender and a public comment session.

The plan is structured around three core goals: enhancing academics and student readiness, recruiting and retaining high-quality educators, and strengthening operational support, safety, and student well-being.

The board meeting addressed the approval of certified and non-certified substitute teacher rates, setting them at 60% and 40% of the beginning teacher pay, respectively. It also outlined the beginning teacher's salary with a Bachelor's degree and zero years of experience for the 2025-2026 school year. Additionally, it referenced the support staff sub rates available on the support staff pay scale.
