Work include remove (1) existing dual fuel fired boiler b-2 in the central plant with associated steam & condensate piping, fos/r & gas piping, chimney, controls, supports, and hangers. Boiler to be removed in section. Test existing boiler's breeching for any potential asbestos before start of work and provide report for engineer review. Install temporary deaerator and surge tank, and all associated temporary pumps, piping, wiring, supports, hangers, and controls. Remove (1) existing deaerator with associated storage tank, pumps, piping, controls, supports, and hangers. Existing equipment shall be broken down as required to allow for removal from the building.
