National Highway Traffic Safety Administration
The Contractor shall perform and coordinate with NHTSA to ensure successful completion of all tasks and deliverables, including, but not limited to, the following: Develop, distribute, and maintain officer-safety information, datasets, and related content with primary emphasis on traffic-related incidents. Create, disseminate, and update communications materials to reinforce positive safety habits (minimum: email blasts, newsletters, podcasts, graphics, and short videos). Establish, manage, and sustain an active social media presence to amplify officer-safety messages and raise public awareness of roadside dangers (e.g., “Move Over”). Plan, host, and conduct quarterly webinars delivering updated officer-safety information, emphasizing traffic-related incidents. Design, deliver, and evaluate training programs and materials supporting law enforcement families, encouraging safe practices, and providing resources for families of officers killed in traffic-related Line-of-Duty Death (LODD) incidents. Provide technical assistance to NHTSA, national law enforcement organizations, and Tribal, municipal, county, and university law enforcement agencies to strengthen officer-safety initiatives.
