These include improvements to municipal buildings and facilities, a Borough Records Digitizing Project, removal of underground fuel storage tanks, sanitary sewer line cleaning, installation of a salt shed, engineering and design phases for DPW facilities, improvements to sanitary and storm sewer systems, and acquisition of equipment for the DPW. The total appropriation is $2,000,000, with $100,000 as a down payment and $1,900,000 authorized for bonds and notes.
The ordinance establishes a schedule of salaries, wages, and compensation for public officials, officers, and employees of the Borough of Englewood Cliffs, and establishes a method of payment for the calendar year 2025.
The Borough Council adopted a bond ordinance to authorize Phase I of the Borough-wide Sewer Improvements Project. The project has an appropriation of $950,000, with $900,000 in bonds/notes authorized. Section 20 costs are $45,000 and the useful life is 40 years.
