Monona Grove School District

The committee reviewed the Substitute Fill Rate and Attendance Report and discussed findings from the Retention and Exit Interview Reports. Additionally, the committee considered and recommended advancing revised job descriptions for licensed personnel, specifically the School Nutrition Director, Physical Therapist, and Elementary School Counselor, to the full Board for consideration.

The committee reviewed the monthly budget report for October 2025 and conducted a review of the 2024-2025 audit report. Additionally, the committee discussed the upcoming 2026-2027 budget calendar and the 2026-2027 five-year budget forecast. A report from the Deputy Superintendent was also presented.

The committee discussed and recommended submitting revised job descriptions for licensed personnel to the full Board for review during the consent agenda. Additionally, the committee reviewed the 2025-2026 enrollment report presented by the administration.

The committee reviewed and approved revisions for two policies: Student Supervision and Welfare (po1213) and Attendance (po5200). Additionally, the committee engaged in a discussion regarding policies related to committees and board compensation, though no formal action was taken on those items at this time.

The committee discussed several key topics including an overview of the Multi-Level System of Support (MLSS) for intervention and advanced learning, an update regarding the Act 20 report, and a status update on the Screen Time Project and technology use evaluation. The committee also received information concerning the Human Growth and Development advisory process and resolved to bring the Act 95 Tie Breaker Criteria to the full Board for consideration.
