HVAC Renovation project for Minneapolis Public Schools is a modernization of the building’s heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The work includes demolition and removal of existing unit ventilators, fan coil units, perimeter radiation, ductwork, louvers, an energy recovery unit, and associated piping and controls, followed by installation of new high-efficiency unit ventilators, fan coil units, air-source heat pumps, energy recovery ventilators, ductwork, hydronic piping, building controls, and related electrical upgrades. Architectural work includes modifications to window openings for new ventilation louvers, soffit and ceiling repairs, wall infills, painting, and firestopping to maintain code compliance. The project is designed to improve indoor air quality, ventilation, occupant comfort, energy efficiency, and system reliability while integrating new equipment with the school's existing heating infrastructure and building automation system.
