The Ethical Framework for AI in Education, developed by The Institute for Ethical AI in Education, provides guidelines to ensure learners optimally benefit from AI while being protected from its risks. It outlines a comprehensive approach through objectives and criteria focusing on achieving educational goals, refining forms of assessment, improving administration and workload management, ensuring equity, promoting learner autonomy, safeguarding privacy, fostering transparency and accountability, encouraging informed participation, and adhering to ethical design principles. The framework aims to facilitate responsible application and ethical development of AI in education to address educational inequalities and enable all learners to reach their full potential.
