The Board of Education held a public session featuring district updates, student and staff recognitions, and presentations. This Smart Schools Investment Plan outlines the utilization of remaining Smart School allocation funds for a comprehensive Network Infrastructure Project. The plan focuses on upgrading network switches in the High School and Middle School, enhancing connectivity with 25Gb and 100Gb fiber uplinks, bolstering network cybersecurity, and ensuring power continuity. Key aspects include centralized logging and backup capabilities, along with installation and hardware maintenance, to support improved digital traffic, device communication, and expanded network capabilities.
