The Greenfield Exempted Village School District held a special meeting where attendees participated in the pledge of allegiance. The board addressed public participation regarding an employment resolution. An executive session was held to discuss the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion, or compensation of a public employee and student matters. The board also addressed the non-renewal of the Pupil Activity Contract for the Head Basketball Coach.

The Greenfield Exempted Village School District Board of Education held a regular meeting. The board members approved the meeting agenda. The consent agenda items were approved, including the Treasurer's Report for March, the resignation of Randy Closson, and the employment of summer maintenance/custodial help. The board addressed the non-renewal of supplemental, pupil activity, and school activity contracts, as well as the non-renewal of a pupil activity contract for 7th grade Volleyball. They also discussed employment agenda items and went into an executive session to discuss the purchase or sale of real property. The special meeting date for the selection of scholarship awards was set for May 2, 2018.

The Greenfield Exempted Village School District held its organizational meeting. The board discussed and approved several items, including the treasurer's report, acceptance of a resignation, authorization for EPC to bid for natural gas, approval of a 5-year forecast, and revisions to several policies. The board also discussed employment matters in executive session and approved recommendations for employment of classified and certified substitutes, as well as certified and non-certified personnel for supplemental positions. Finally, the board accepted the resignation of the superintendent.
