Strategic goals extending to 2025 include implementing a Professional Learning Community Plan to enhance student achievement and reduce teacher turnover, achieving 50% student proficiency or significant growth in ELA and Math assessments, and establishing a robust engagement plan to increase attendance to 93% while decreasing suspensions and office referrals.

This plan, developed by the Building Leadership Team, outlines key areas of growth for the school, focusing on student wellness and success. It prioritizes individualized academic supports, particularly in reading, through Science of Reading-aligned interventions and high-dosage tutoring. The plan also emphasizes comprehensive social, emotional, and mental health education and interventions, alongside robust family engagement to support learning at home. A critical component is ensuring school safety through threat assessment programming, professional development for staff, and training for students to prevent violence and manage crises.

This Extended Learning Plan outlines strategies for A+ Arts Academy to address student academic and social-emotional needs. It details processes for identifying impacted students, implementing approaches to relieve academic gaps and remove barriers, identifying and addressing social and emotional needs, and determining competency in both academic learning and social-emotional development. The plan also includes provisions for professional learning to support staff in learning recovery, aiming to improve student outcomes and well-being from Spring 2021 through School Year 2022-23.
