The FX Roadmap outlines a phased strategy for the implementation and resolution of the fiscal agent contract and the replacement of the existing Florida Medicaid Management Information System (FMMIS). The meeting included a review of previous action items and status updates, agency and unit updates, and updates from the Office of Data Dissemination & Transparency, including FloridaHealthFinder Website updates and care bundle reformulation. The Office of Data Collection & Quality Assurance reported on data collection certification and the suspension of the FDDC "Unknown SSN Threshold" edit. The Office of Health Information Exchange discussed the Health Information Exchange (HIE), the E-PLUS Program, and Encounter Notification Statistics. There was also a discussion on the HIE Vendor Transition and its impacts, followed by a report from the HIE Coordinating Committee Meeting, a Department of Children and Families Legislative Update, and public comments.

The meeting included updates from the Health Information Exchange Coordinating Committee (HIECC) and discussions regarding the transition to a new Florida HIE Vendor, CRISP Shared Service (CSS), including a review and approval of the new Participation Agreement. The Florida Center provided updates on implementing new legislative requirements for nursing homes, data collection activities, and enhancements to the Florida Health Finder website. There were also discussions on the E-PLUS program, focusing on increasing data received from pharmacies. Action items were assigned related to data vant software, research on data transfer mechanisms, and distribution of migration timelines and conference links to council members.

The meeting included updates on the HIECC, a presentation on OneFlorida+, and updates from the Florida Center regarding data collection and dissemination. Discussions covered discharge data reporting, patient safety culture survey programs, transparency websites, and updates to FloridaHealthFinder and MyFloridaRx websites. The HIE and Policy update included information on the selection of a vendor and updates related to Florida HIE. The E-PLUS program is working to expand utilization of the system throughout the various counties in Florida.
