The public budget meeting included discussion of the strategic plan, enrolment, new requests, highlights of the 2025/2026 budget, projected revenues, costs by program, program definitions, type of expenditures, comparison to the 2024/2025 budget, mill rate history, municipal special request, and school tax.

The Flin Flon School Division's Accessibility Plan, developed in accordance with the Accessibility for Manitobans Act (AMA), outlines measures to identify, remove, and prevent barriers for individuals with disabilities, including students, staff, parents, volunteers, and visitors. The plan focuses on six key actions: establishing an Accessibility Working Group, providing accessible information, staff awareness and training, reviewing facilities for physical barriers, monitoring progress, and ensuring accessible employment. It addresses various types of barriers and aligns with AMA standards for customer service, employment, information and communications, design of public spaces, and transportation, emphasizing continuous review and updates.

The Flin Flon School Division's strategic plan for 2023-2027 focuses on student success within a culturally diverse, safe, and inclusive learning environment. Key areas include enhancing literacy and numeracy through data-driven support, improving resource allocation for special education, and preparing students for future opportunities via community partnerships and career counseling. The plan also aims to improve student attendance and engagement through extracurricular activities, address diversity and cultural safety, and increase Indigenous student engagement by implementing Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action. Mental wellness is supported through increased student connections, community partnerships, and education to reduce stigma.
