To provide litigation and other legal advisory services to fhfa, which may include but are not limited to: representing fhfa in litigation at the state and federal level; providing regulatory advice with respect to the regulated entities, the office of finance, and u. S. Fintech llc; and providing legal advice in the areas of banking law, securities law, financial services regulation law, bankruptcy law, real estate law, antitrust law, administrative law, corporate law (including matters involving boards of directors and governance), insurance law, conservatorships and receiverships of financial institutions, insolvency law, artificial intelligence, privacy law (including but not limited to privacy act and freedom of information act matters), internal operations, and other areas of law as needed.

Work under this IDIQ contract will be authorized at the Task Order level. Each Task Order will define the specific scope of work. The Contractor shall not perform any work unless a Task Order is issued by the Contracting Officer, and no work shall be authorized outside the scope of the Task Order without prior written approval from the Contracting Officer. The Contractor shall perform a full range of ongoing legal tasks that may include, but are not limited to: Providing high-quality legal memos and advice, orally, or in writing, on issues that arise and on the applicability of laws, regulations, and guidance to FHFA; Providing high-quality legal memos and advice on human resource or personnel-related procedures and actions such as, but not limited to, employee disciplinary and performance-based actions and related policies and programs.
