To help ensure all Rhode Islanders have access to high-quality, cutting-edge career development services, the selected intermediary will work with the GWB to achieve the following objectives: 1. Cultivate a network of cross-sector career development professionals to enhance local coordination and connectivity. a. Engage Rhode Island-based professionals across sectors and recruit for cohort-based and ad-hoc programming. b. Facilitate cross-sector interactions. c. Demonstrate increased coordination through participant feedback. 2. Develop a website (online resource repository) featuring high-quality assessment tools, best practices, local labor market data, and a directory of cross-sector colleagues. a. Launch the website with all core resources available. b. Monitor website and resource utilization. c. Maintain and update resources as needed. 3. Coordinate and deliver high-quality cohort-style and ad-hoc professional development programming. a. Achieve participation from local professionals across sectors. b. Demonstrate improvement in participant knowledge and/or skills based on pre- and post- assessments c. Incorporate topics, projects, and tracks as requested by the GWB. The project’s objectives are geared toward improving coordination and capacity across Rhode Island’s career development ecosystem by expanding shared resources, improving access to labor market and pathway information, and supporting practitioners with best practices and modern tools to better serve students and job seekers. Performance will be measured by the successful implementation of the above combined with feedback from the career development professionals engaged.
