Regional District Of Central Okanagan Regular Board Meeting
The Board discussed and adopted the Regional Growth Strategy Consultation Plan and endorsed the Regional Climate Resilience Strategy. They endorsed, in principle, the Regional District of Central Okanagan's participation in the regional Affordable Transit Pass program and approved a development permit for a residential dwelling redevelopment at 910 Bear Creek Road. Additionally, the Board adopted the City of Kelowna Security Issuing Bylaw No. 1597, 2026, and endorsed an application for the 2026 Union of BC Municipalities Community Excellence Awards for the Manufacturing Database. The meeting also included receiving information regarding Okanagan Basin Water Board reports and a motion to close the meeting to discuss property security and legal advice.
