The primary discussion item addressed whether the County should participate in the National Flood Insurance Program. The Commission then attended to general County business.

The Commission convened and conducted a conference with Huber & Associates, deciding to lease new IT equipment over a four-year period instead of purchasing it. Subsequently, the Commission met with the new Superintendent of Kirksville RIII Schools to discuss school finances, including tax abatement for wind projects, the need for increased funding for competitive salaries, long-term building refurbishment plans, and challenges related to language barriers among new community migrants and vaping issues among students.

The key discussion item addressed was a "Petition for Vacation of a Public Road" commencing at Husky Trail, East mile, and then south mile, concerning County Road 181 in Morrow Township. Additionally, two Commissioners attended a ribbon cutting ceremony at the Industrial Park in Kirksville, while the remainder of the day was spent attending to general County business.

The key discussion point for this session involved an amendment to the 2012 budget, specifically to increase revenues by $3,750 to account for monies received for website subscriptions under account 202-4-000-600.500. Additionally, the Commission confirmed the re-appointment of Beverly Grubrich and Jeff Sivernail to the Senate Bill 40 (SB40) Board.
