The City Council passed an ordinance amending the zoning District Map for property located on Washington Avenue and Main Street from a Second Dwelling House District to an Apartment House District. The Planning and Zoning Commission also held a meeting, where they approved an application for a final plat near Baxter Street and Hickory Avenue, authorized an annexation and R-2 zoning for property near Industrial Drive and Lusk Drive, and reviewed an application for the aforementioned re-zoning of property on Washington Avenue and Main Avenue.
