Key discussion areas included the development of a culture of service excellence through improved internal and external communication and workforce development, public safety initiatives focusing on recruitment and retention and infrastructure support, and a long-term strategy for infrastructure, quality of life, and recreational facilities. Additionally, the board reviewed the implementation of a 10-year capital plan and the coordination of development and transportation planning with regional partners.
