Ann Arbor City Council Planning Session Meeting Minutes
The City Council conducted a planning work session covering several topics, including an Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation housing report, the Fourth Ave Street & Transit Project, and a financial snapshot regarding the budget process and poverty exemption guidelines. Discussions also addressed winter preparation and safety, the status of the SEU (Sustainability and Emissions Unit), and building and rental services issues. Furthermore, the meeting included a demo of the Records Management System, a review of a proposed unarmed response model, and the introduction of five city initiatives: a sponge park, an outdoor warning system transformation, a pallet village, a returnable container program, and a local climate action museum.
