The committee addressed the resolution to approve the transfer of a liquor license for Anna's House Ann Arbor, LLC. The committee reviewed updates from the City Administrator regarding downtown cleanup, concert preparation, resolution actions for the harms report and anti-displacement plan, and road improvements. The City Attorney provided departmental updates. Additionally, the committee discussed and approved a resolution regarding a new Council rule proposing that agenda items requiring a vote shall not be taken up after 11 p.m. without majority Council approval, with the resolution set for the upcoming City Council agenda.

The committee meeting covered several key agenda items, including a discussion on the annual budget timeline and presentations regarding the FY 2026 close-out and audit schedule, the FY 2027 start and digital budget book update, and the FY 2028 budget book kick-off for the two-year budget cycle. The committee reviewed correspondence and received an airport manager's report covering the completion of the J-Row paving project, the USDA wildlife report, and a state grant for runway and taxiway painting.
