The Programming Board discussed a welcome and check-in session involving team updates, a recap of takeaways from the previous meeting, a debrief regarding the Ice Cream from Around the World event to identify successes and areas for improvement, and continued planning for a Mental Health Awareness event in collaboration with the Wellness Center.

The committee meeting included reports from various college representatives regarding academic concerns, student advising, enrollment issues, and curriculum changes. Significant discussion items included the development of an Academic Affairs resolution concerning the use of generative AI in academia, specifically focusing on drafting language based on campus outreach and CSSA white paper data. Additionally, the committee explored a potential partnership with Gray Decision Intelligence to evaluate the benefits of data-driven tools for workforce alignment, labor market analytics, and improved student career readiness.

The agenda included action items regarding funding requests for two university initiatives: the Black Joy Year End Celebration hosted by The Bloc, and the production of a 2026 Zine by the UndocuSpartan Resource Center.

The Finance Committee meeting covered several budget approval items for various student organizations and initiatives. Key discussions included financial allocations for MARINE, San Jose Consulting Group, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Club, Game Development Club, LCoB Interorganizational Leadership Advancement Committee, ACM SIGGRAPH, AR/VR Club, Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, and the Vietnamese Student Association. The meeting also featured a report from the Controller/CFO.
