Franklin City Council City Council Meeting
The City Council conducted public hearings regarding CDBG projects for Franklin Woods/Woodside Haven and the Healthfirst Family Care Center. A significant portion of the meeting was dedicated to a public session on the proposed School Board budget, where numerous residents, teachers, and officials provided input regarding funding for schools and sports, the tax cap, and the fiscal impact on the community. The Council subsequently passed resolutions transferring funds into the Capital Reserve Municipal Transportation fund and authorizing the payment of recurring expenses, and they initiated a paving project for East Bow Street. Finally, the Council scheduled future budget workshops to continue their review of city departments.
