Department Of Management Services Strategic Leasing Plan 2026-2030
This document, the Master Leasing Report and Strategic Leasing Plan, is submitted annually by the Department of Management Services (DMS) to the Executive Office of the Governor and the Legislature. It provides a comprehensive overview of the State of Florida's leased real estate portfolio, including lease data, expiring leases, and financial impacts. The plan outlines anticipated space needs and strategies for cost reduction through consolidation, relocation, reconfiguration, capital investment, and renovation of state-owned space. Key initiatives for the five-year period from 2026 to 2030 include lease renegotiation, leveraging an integrated facilities management system (REDM One), optimizing real estate through centralized oversight and enhanced occupancy management, and conducting a comprehensive study of downtown Tallahassee to improve the performance of the state's real estate assets and achieve cost savings.
