The meeting agenda included organizational items such as the election of officers and appointment of committees. Key action items involved the adoption of the order of business, approval of current board policies and regulations, selection of the school auditor, local newspaper for publication, school attorney, and depository banks. The board was set to consider accepting the resignations of Brandon Jacobitz and Maria Bohlen, both effective at the end of the 2025-26 academic year, and to discuss joining STANCE. Additionally, action was planned for amending procurement plan policies (#3131) and internal controls (#3132), and adopting a resolution to appoint foundation directors. Discussion items included reviewing the Technology Plan, and receiving reports from the Principal, Superintendent, and Committees.

The meeting will include approval of bills, payroll, and transfers; a public forum; action items such as approving contracts for a school nurse, teachers, and changes to the Foundation Bylaws; and discussion items including upcoming dates, senior graduation progress, safety plan review, enrollment review, curriculum, master schedule, alternative education program updates, and reports from the principal, superintendent, and committees. An executive/closed session is also possible.

The Adams Central Public Schools ARP ESSER plan focuses on using American Rescue Plan Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief funds to address learning loss and improve educational outcomes. Key strategies include summer school programs to address learning gaps, teacher training in Marzano and High Reliability Schools methodologies to enhance teaching effectiveness, and expanding educational technology access for all students, particularly those from low-income backgrounds and with disabilities. The plan aims to improve academic, social, emotional, and mental health outcomes for all students by providing additional learning opportunities, enhancing teacher skills, and ensuring equitable access to technology.
