City Council Regular Meeting
The City Council meeting included several presentations, including the Mayor's Outstanding Volunteer Award and an introduction of the 2026 Summer Interns. The Council authorized various contracts and agreements, such as the SWR 2026-005 Ranney Well Electrical Replacement, the development of a Parks, Culture, Recreation and Open Space Plan, and lobbying services with Rise West Partners, LLC. Additionally, the Council approved the project acceptance for Reservoir Cathodic Protection, a Local Agency Agreement for Citywide Intersection Improvements, budget appropriations for the 2025-2026 revised biennial budget, the purchase of a 2026 Vactor 2100i, supplemental investment advisory services, a new municipal code regarding substance endangerment, a public assistance grant agreement, and a change order for the Cedarcrest Golf Irrigation Repair Project. Appointments were also made to the Parks, Culture, and Recreation Advisory Board, the Planning Commission, and the Community Development Block Grant Citizen Advisory Committee.
