The Council meeting covered the presentation of the Propel Business Lab Program and a local business success story. Resolutions were approved to encourage a regional alliance between the Bamberg County Chamber of Commerce and the Southern Palmetto Chamber of Commerce, and to request signage recognizing the state championship of the local high school football team. The Council also advanced ordinances related to a fee-in-lieu of tax agreement for Project Inspiration and an amended solid waste service agreement with the Three Rivers Solid Waste Authority. Additionally, the Council approved a calendar of events and discussed public shelter availability and budget information requests.
