The committee discussed the Program Review Committee's rollout of the SRC Action Log and reviewed Fair Hearing cases, identifying potential training opportunities for Vocational Rehabilitation counselors regarding case documentation. Discussions also covered the development of new member orientation materials, which may include a requirement for members to attend a formal Vocational Rehabilitation orientation. Additionally, the committee addressed current council vacancies, including the need for a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor and a Workforce Investment Board member, and reviewed the progress of drafting updated bylaws and the process for addressing member attendance obligations.

The committee discussed leadership changes and approved the appointment of a new chair and vice chair. Members decided to transition from monthly to quarterly meetings. Discussions also focused on strategies for managing Facebook page content collaboratively, sharing community resources for families in early intervention, and refining the process for recruiting and supporting families to share their stories at future meetings. Additionally, the committee reviewed the status of updates to the parent application process and planned to coordinate further with the Development committee regarding family-friendly materials.

The council received a presentation on Feeding Matters and the importance of addressing Pediatric Feeding Disorders. Discussion items included mandatory Tracorp ADA law training for council members. Subcommittee updates were provided by the Transition, Fiscal, Family Engagement, and Development committees. AzEIP updates covered the upcoming federal Differentiated Monitoring and Support visit, future contract proposals, legislative impacts, and performance data regarding timely service delivery. The meeting concluded with recognition of a retiring staff member.
