Representatives from SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union and the College Board provided updates on services available to school employees and students, such as savings accounts, auto loans, and AP/SAT exam support. The event concluded with various recognition ceremonies for school achievements, including Golden Bell Awards, California Distinguished Schools, and America's Healthiest Schools, as well as a reflection and resources provided in honor of Juneteenth.

The board discussed the role of technology in education as presented by the student advisory board, which emphasized balancing technology for learning with the need for traditional instruction.
