Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District Board of Education Regular Open Session
The board meeting included the approval of a settlement agreement regarding compensatory education services and student placement reimbursement. The Malibu Education Foundation and the Santa Monica Education Foundation provided updates on their annual fundraising activities, achievements, and goals for the upcoming year. Updates were also provided by the student board member on registration and orientation, and by the SMMCTA treasurer on teacher academy successes and ongoing contract negotiations.
