The board conducted a governance study session covering the governance handbook, roles and responsibilities for board members and the superintendent, expected results and measures, formal structures and processes, and communication protocols.

The board meeting included the recognition of the retiring superintendent and the approval of personnel assignment orders, general contractor agreements, and an IT department reorganization. Resolutions regarding utility easements, transitional kindergarten qualifications, and the 2025-2026 Education Protection Account were adopted. The board approved the 2025-2026 school year calendar, facility lease amendments, the 2024-2027 Local Control Accountability Plan, and the 2025-2026 budget. Additionally, the board ratified tentative agreements with employee associations, authorized updates to the middle school campus modernization project, approved an MOU with the education foundation, and conducted votes on multiple district policies concerning student health, technology, and conduct. A discussion regarding all-access student restrooms was also held.
