The board discussed and took action on student discipline cases. The meeting included multiple recognition ceremonies, where the board honored the Isuza High School robotics team for their competitive achievements in the C2 Monrovia League, as well as athletes from Isuza High School for their performance in volleyball and flag football as Most Valuable Players and First Team All-League selections.

A significant portion of the meeting was dedicated to the recognition of the 2025-2026 Classified Employees of the Year from various district schools, including Dalton Elementary, Hajj Elementary, Charles H. Lee Elementary, Longfellow School, Murray Elementary, and Paramount Elementary.
