The Cook County Digital Equity Action Plan is a roadmap designed to bridge the digital divide and ensure equitable access to essential digital resources and technology for all residents. It is built upon four core cornerstones: access, confidence, safety, and infrastructure, which are supported by 12 innovative impact solutions. The plan employs a hyper-local, data-informed, and people-driven approach, leveraging funding, innovation, policy development, and storytelling to foster digital literacy and empower communities. The overarching vision is to cultivate a connected and equitable future where every individual can fully participate and thrive in the digital world.
